My children and I are the people who are paying for the depression of a faithless man. There is no one who can say that faith is the thing that someone in the throes of depression needs. However, it can be said that faith provides strength for the families of those who are so depressed because they feel they have no control over the situation at hand.
Though my beliefs are not labeled the same as many who post here, the facets of my beliefs are very much the same in that all things labeled "hard" are not lessons or revenge by a God Who seeks only ensure that we tiny little humans obey the every whim of a jealous Creator but rather that we see the lessons in the hardships.
Unfortunately, not all human beings are born into spiritual families. Thankfully, I was, and have been able to pass on these traits of strength and faith to our children.
